It would have to be difficult to beat in the market today with a price tag of 122 million CZK.

However, in 2012, Czech Forbes compiled a list of 20 most expensive Prague apartments and was a luxurious penthouse suite, number one, at an extraordinary price of CZK 125 million find property qatar

However, four years later, Penthouse Jeseniova is still looking for an owner. And the price tag has come down to CZK 85 million according to Blesk.

The Žpenthouse is on Svoboda & Williams' website with a mere 4+1 (four bedrooms and a kitchen), but the living space measures up to 500 m2. Add 700 m2 of rooftop garden and terraces, and the location is only about 1200 m2.

In total, the apartment comprises two separate buildings on the entire rooftop terrace.

What is that CZK 85 million?

The apartment Art Deco Žižkov has an open kitchen with a living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a gym, an aerial lounge, an indoor swimming pool, a private lift and four underground car parking spaces.

The rooftop terrace also has a fireplace and a gazebo.

Thanks to the glass walls at all sides of the penthouse, people from every location get lovely views of Prague.

While CZK 85 million is a lot in Prague, it's nothing compared to the priest locale of New York City. This 4-story penthouse in Central Park is worth $250 million or 6.15 billion crowns.

The Czech Republic is one of the most dense castle areas in Europe, with more than 2,000 buildings and castles embellished by the landscape of Prague and beyond. If the idea of owning a manor house in the Renaissance looks like pure fantasy, then you could be wrong: Bloomberg reports that a Czech castle is nowadays less than a studio apartment in Manhattan.

Their recent article interviewed the owner of VIP Castles, an agency in Prague that lists around 400 buildings from small to large buildings. The company sells three properties on average a month at prices ranging from €4 million expenditure to €12,000 bargaining.

In the Czech Republic, the castles are said to be a steal compared to the western castles, which can cost 5 to 10 times more similar properties. Cheap work means affordable renovations and without heritage taxes the country gives tax incentives to owners who restore historic buildings.

Naysayers still argue that it's not all it has cracked to purchase a castle here. Many of the properties are in ruins while a few would-be castellanos don't exactly like a fairy tale living in a rural Czech village.

So who buys castles these days? VIP Sales says that their customers are rich Russians and Ukrainians, who often turn properties into hotels, branches or spas.

Ready to sell your walk-up flat with moat? The VIP Castles include Kolovratsky castle, a historical monument of the 16th century in north Pilsen for €19,000 or a ten-room château in Dolní jadruž in south Karlovy Vary for €48,000.
